Sweet & Mildly Spicy Nuts and Grains Snack - So Good!

Serves:: 3½ cups
Ingredients:
- 2 T Honey
- 1 Egg white
- ⅛ t Cayenne pepper (more if you like it spicier)
- ⅛ t Ground ginger
- ¼ t Kosher salt
- ¼ t Lawry’s Seasoned salt
- 3 C Raw almonds, walnuts, and pecans mixture
- ⅓ C Uncooked tri-colored Quinoa (sometimes called rainbow quinoa)
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 300 degrees F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mix together honey, egg white, cayenne, Seasoning salt, salt and ginger.
- Mix well, add nuts and quinoa, and mix again.
- Pour mixture into prepared baking sheet and bake until toasted, about 15 minutes, turning halfway.
- Remove from oven.
- Allow to cool for 5 minutes.
- Pour into a bowl and serve warm.
