Here’s a perfectly delicious way to start a day of healthy eating.

Serves:: 2 cups
Ingredients:
- 2-1/4 C Water
- 1 C Old Fashioned (regular) rolled oats
- 1/16 t Kosher sea salt
- ½ t Ground Cinnamon
- ¼ C Dried Blueberries or other fruit
- ¼ C Walnuts, chopped
- 1 T Flaxseeds
- 1 T Chia seeds
- 1 t Vanilla extract
- 2 T Honey, or as much as you like
- 1 C Milk or dairy-free milk alternative
Directions:
- Add the water in a medium saucepan and turn the heat to high.
- When the water boils, turn the heat to med-high, add oatmeal, and cook, stirring occasionally, until the water is nearly absorbed, about 5 minutes.
- Add salt, cinnamon, blueberries, walnuts, flax seeds, chia seeds, vanilla, and honey.
- Stir, cover the pan, and turn off heat.
- Let sit for 5 minutes.
- Serve hot with milk poured over top.
