This never misses! What kind of vegetable can you serve your family and friends that you know everyone will love? Glazed carrots, of course. But, if you want something a little unexpected, but perfect for your holiday or weeknight dinner, try these maple glazed carrots. Be sure to buy multi-colored carrots from purple, red, orange, yellow, to blonde. They look great and they taste terrific!
Maple Glazed Carrots
Serves: 4
Prep Time: 5 min Cook Time: 9 minutes Total Time: 14 minutes
Ingredients:
5 C Carrots, evenly sized cuts
½ t Kosher Sea salt
¼ t Freshly ground Black Pepper
1 C Freshly squeezed Orange juice
1 T Maple Syrup
1 t Toasted sesame seeds
Directions:
In a 12”skillet, melt butter; add carrots. Cook 4 minutes at medium-high heat, stirring several times to keep from burning. Add salt and black pepper. Add Orange juice and Maple syrup. Reduce heat. Cook, stirring occasionally, for another 5 minutes, or until juice has reduced to a glaze and carrots are lightly caramelized and fork tender. Garnish with toasted sesame seeds. Serve immediately.
